The enchanting snowball blossoms are without question one of the absolute strokes of genius of master modeller Johann Joachim Kaendler. He first created them in 1739 for a service presented to his wife Maria Josepha by King Augustus. The gorgeous box is strewn with countless flowers. Each one is intricately shaped and hand-painted by hand. Delicate brushstrokes have been used to emphasize the sculptural naturalness. A cherry set in gold on the box lends it a very special elegance and makes it a dazzling work of art. Each individual snowball blossom on the "Tin of Snowball Blossoms" is hand-painted and placed on the tin with the utmost concentration and attention to detail. A breathtaking work of art from the Exclusive Collection. As every work of art in the Exclusive Collection shows, this effort is worth it: each one is beautiful and unique - hand-painted and exclusive.
